As Director of Insurance Services, Erica Sutphin administers all aspects of the life insurance underwriting process and policy servicing for Navitas Wealth Advisors. Assisting the Planning team, Erica helps clients in the Discovery phase of the Navitas Wealth Experience as they evaluate existing insurance coverage and implement improvements. She shapes processes impacting the client experience from the initial stages of information gathering and through the ongoing maintenance and management of new and in-force policies. In her personal life and her career, Erica seeks to serve others and help them shine. She also enjoys bringing efficiencies into daily processes, working by the motto: “Work smarter, not harder.”

Observing her parents who owned and operated a business, Erica developed an early interest in a business career and a strong work ethic. After completing coursework at Hinds Community College, she served for many years in administrative and operational roles in the financial, insurance, non-profit, and service industries. Prior to joining Navitas in 2020, Erica was a life insurance case manager for a large brokerage firm where she managed cases on behalf of more than 250 independent agents while also acting as liaison to the nation’s largest insurance carriers.

She and her family serve actively in their church and participate in many community activities. An avid piano player, Erica has passed this talent along to her daughters, making music a daily joy for their family.
