As Client Services Coordinator for the Navitas Wealth Advisors Raleigh North Carolina office, Kelley is often the first person you may speak to or see when you call or walk into the office. She enjoys getting to know each individual and those who are most important to them. Kelley also supports the office to help prepare for client meetings, coordinate scheduling and assist with daily administrative operations.
As an alumnus of University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Kelley has always had a passion for business and economics. Upon graduation, Kelly worked for several banks throughout her career. She began at CCB Bank and rose through the ranks to become an assistant loan officer. After a couple of years working for the bank, and as a newlywed, Kelley and her husband moved to Pensacola Florida, where she worked for Barnett Bank in customer service.
Not long after, they made the decision to move back to Charlotte, North Carolina, to be closer to family, where she worked for BB&T bank. In this role, she worked to service and educate clients who were employed by state and local governments on how their 401k programs worked. Kelley thoroughly enjoyed this time in her career because she was able to travel and also help people understand how their retirement vehicles worked.
Kelley shifted gears and went to work for Medic Software, a software built for medical offices and hospitals. She worked in a department that specialized in servicing medical records and helped problem solve with the customer support team. She really enjoyed the process of working closely with the programming team and with the customer support team to find solutions and create more better outcomes.
Prior to merging with Navitas Wealth Advisors in January 2020, Kelley provided years of service for a well-known local financial planning firm, Investments and Planning in Raleigh, North Carolina. Under the new firm umbrella, Kelley will continue in her role, providing support as Client Services Coordinator for the Raleigh Navitas office.
Outside of the office, family is very important to Kelley and she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. You may find her window shopping or working on a hands-on crafty project around the house. Kelley grew up making memories with her family and creating unique woodwork pieces with her father in his shop as a hobby and has continued the knowledge and legacy by building out projects with her husband.
