William Kientz

Principal

As a principal of Navitas Wealth Advisors, Bill Kientz draws on more than 45 years of experience in financial services as he introduces and guides clients through their investment planning and Family Wealth strategies. Throughout his career, he has maintained long-standing, personal relationships built on trust and open communication. His goal is to collaborate with clients from the start and stay with them over the long haul. His individual and business clients appreciate his presence through the important process of weaving family and life concerns into their wealth management decisions.

He began his career in the brokerage division of Connecticut General Corporation, where he spent 15 years specializing in estate planning and succession planning for families and business owners. In 1991, Bill formed his own firm, partnering with accountants and collaborating with legal and other advisors to provide his clients more comprehensive analysis and solutions in meeting their goals and objectives. In 1997, Bill co-founded KTB Wealth Partners, a fee-based financial planning and money management firm.

He and his partners built a highly successful business over the next 20 years and often worked together with Navitas Wealth Advisors. In 2019, the two firms merged, and Bill continues to advise clients who appreciate the personal touch he brings to the planning process.

Bill earned his Bachelor of Science in General Business and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas. He has been married to Jan for over 50 years and has held leadership roles with and continues to support Ballet Mississippi, St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, and St. Andrew’s Episcopal Cathedral.
